Favorite Books

I think that every individual should take in as much knowledge and perspectives from outside sources as possible. I usually am reading 2-3 books at any given time as I read one in the car on Audible and one in bed before I go to sleep.

After reading numerous books, here are my top books that I highly recommend. These books have given me new perspectives, motivation, and a vision for what I want my future to become.

Let me know if you have read any of them, and what you think! If there are other great books that have changed your life, and you feel we should know about them! Comment below!  I’m always up for new recommendations!

1. Richest Man in Babylon

This is my all-time favorite book. It is short and fictional, however, it sets the entire foundation on building wealth throughout each narrative the author uses. Anytime I feel I am getting off track of my goals and my finances, I re-read or re-listen to this book.

2. Rich Dad, Poor Dad

As I have listened to dozens of Podcasts and talked to many people, this seems to be the core book that has provided a paradigm shift into each person of how to live so that you can gain wealth instead of always waiting on the next paycheck. It’s what we don’t learn in our modern society with finances.

3. You are a Badass

This book kicked my ass into gear. I was really struggling with purpose and self-doubt, and this book truly helped get me out of my funk.

4. You are a Badass at Making Money

Since I loved You Are a Badass so much, I decided to listen to this one. I think I actually loved it even more! It has profound insights and really help get you moving with a positive can-do attitude to go after what you want!

5. Sell or Be Sold

This was a great invigorating book to read by Grant Cardone. He explains how every single person in life is a sales person, whether or not they ever thought they were one. It changed my viewpoint on sales and helped me with my introverted-self at getting out of my comfort zone.

6. The One Thing

Can’t figure out why you aren’t getting anything done or being successful? This book is basic at its core, but brings to light the simple truths that we can’t do everything at once. We need to focus on our One Thing.

7. How to Win friends and Influence People

Somedays do you feel like you haven’t quite connected with another person? This is a staple book that helps provide evidence on how to connect with others.

8. Take Control of Your Life- Mel Robbins

To be honest, this was the first of Mel Robbins books I’ve listened to or even read. But, wow! She shook me up, spoke some truth, and pushed me to go and do the things I need to be doing NOW.

9. Girl, Stop Apologizing

Ah, the infamous Rachel Hollis. This girl has genuine heart. I love her to death, and she is a constant reminder that anyone can achieve their dreams. She provides wisdom, along with a friendly reminder that you aren’t to be pushed around by no one. Be Yourself, because the “Pam’s” of the world will tell you to be something else.

10. Cash Flow Quadrant

After I read Rich Dad, Poor Dad, I was ready to dive deeper into my new paradigm shift at understanding how money works. This books really digs into that and how it affects each type of employment status- Employee, Self-employed, Business Owner, Investor

11. The Millionaire Real Estate Agent

Of course as a real estate agent, this is my original “bible”. It provides the foundation of what you need to do to succeed. Follow it, and you will. Don’t, and you won’t.

12. Sales Ninja

After being in sales for over 4 years, I needed a boost to kick my sales up a notch. Holy cow, this book will change everything you that about selling. Of course it was originally based upon real estate, but you can use this as the side-kick to the Millionaire Real Estate Agent. If you utilize this book, you can become unstoppable.
