Law of Attraction

A belief is only a thought you continue to think; and when your beliefs match your desires, then your desires must become your reality.

Abraham Hicks – Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction was first discovered in 1877. However, it has always existed.  It has come in different forms and explained in different ways throughout millennia even in forms of Christian and Buddhist religions.

But, what exactly is it?

The Law of Attraction states that; any thought, positive or negative, will manifest into physical reality.

Over the past year, I have come to realize through research, that the universe is made up entirely of energy. Physical objects are energy. Subconscious or conscious thoughts and ideas are energy that is then used and formed into the physical. Everything then that we think becomes a reality whether or not we believed it would manifest as such.

Our thoughts that we consistently think about we bring into our lives. This can become a positive or negative experience. If we constantly dwell on what we don’t have or negative thoughts in which we believe we are, that puts into motion the actual materialization of those thoughts. Do you say things like; “I am so poor”, “I will never be rich”, “I never get anything I want”, “I am not as lucky as those people” ? If so, you are setting yourself up to continue being or bringing (or not) whatever you think. Energy attracts energy.  Positive attracts positive. Negative attracts negative.

In our society, we have been taught to compare ourselves to others. Constantly thinking of what we don’t have, what we don’t look like, and everything we want but can’t get. Usually, those thoughts are brought on negatively. We don’t have the mindset to think positively. We don’t speak to ourselves in a way that we truly believe we in fact will get what we desire in the future. Have you noticed that all of those things end up never becoming a reality? Did you ever force something to become a reality and it ended badly? That is because the energy was not aligned with you and your intentions. It should come to you effortlessly and easily.

When you have negative or positive thoughts and think them as well as speak them, the universe begins aligning its energy with yours. When you consistently and only think positively, the energy becomes aligned to manifest that in which you want to become a reality. Is it magic? No. Definitely not. We are only talking about energy and the creation of more energy by which we are creating in our minds. It doesn’t happen instantly, it doesn’t happen overnight. As you work and believe that what you want to happen through your goals, visions and thoughts, they will grow and steer in the direction that you have believed would happen. You believed it would, believed it was, and it then does form into an actual reality as the universe aligns with the energy you are putting out.

Well, what that seems silly. If I made it my goal, and worked towards it, I would get it. YES. If you believed that you could truly in your heart make it so, it would in fact happen! I am sure you have had goals and worked towards them, but never thought you could actually achieve it. You probably thought, this goal is a waste of time. It’s too hard to become reality. Well, what happened? My guess is that it probably wasn’t achieved. No matter how much you tried, it didn’t get to that specific number. The universe was only working at the number you knew before and which you believed could actually happen.  So that dream number or goal… well- it didn’t.

Here’s the last bit of making what we want happen-

We HAVE to believe and envision it already has! We need to form our thoughts of the future as if they’re in the present tense. For example; I have a million dollar net worth. I have $10,000 a month in passive income. I got to meet and talk with one of my favorite motivational speakers, Rachel Hollis. I own 25 rental units by the time I am 35.  Did you notice a trend? They are specific. They are written as if they actually happened. You can see there’s no questioning my goals and intent.

Mark 11:24: “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

If say I was to write, I don’t want to be poor. All the energy is focused around being poor. What manifests? Continuing to be poor. Or I say, I never find a good boyfriend. Then I only find and get crappy relationships. Or I say, I am always going to be overweight. Diets never work for me. What happens? You guessed it, I’m still overweight.

The idea is simple, but putting it into action and changing how you think is the hardest part. You no longer can serve to live in a mindset of lack. You must think in a mindset of abundance. You can’t think it one day and the next change your thinking. It must continuously be believed and thought.

Finally, these things as I said are not magic. In order for them to be achieved you have to DO them. If you create a goal, you must go after it. It doesn’t manifest on its own. The universe and energy will help guide you on the path, but first you must create the path!

Create the belief and then take action to make it happen. – Bob Proctor
